New York's Quarantine on Some Out-of-State Visitors

My DS will be arriving at KP next week from California, a state placed this week on New York State's 2 week quarantine list. What effect, if any, will this have on incoming mids arriving from states on NY's naughty list?

USMMA has policies in effect to test all incoming Mids, isolate until test results received, and then proceed as indicated. The 'naughty list' (ha!) has no effect on the process. Your Mid should have received information directly from KP and, I believe, PPE in a mailing.

The process has gone very well for 2020 and 2023B thus far. Indoc cadre reports this Sunday and class of 2024 on the 10th. Here's to continuing success!
 
USMMA Federal Travel Orders supersede the state of New York’s regulations. That applies to the Plebe Candidates only, but not their parents who wish to travel with them to drop off for Indoc. Candidates will be immediately tested once they arrive on campus and will be kept in isolation until their tests come back (24 hours or so) and then they will split into companies for Indoc training. All Candidates are required to travel with proper PPE and report to the Academy with personal PPE. Once they arrive on campus they will be issued Academy PPE.
