Next 6 months...

I'm currently a college student. I have an appointment to West Point, I'm accepting, and I'm wondering...
Do I need to stay in school between now and Beast? My parents don't want to pay another $10,000 for me to go to UCI if I could come home and work.
If I do need to stay in school, do I need to stay at the same school, or could I come home and go to City College?

I would suggest you check with your regional commander in admissions to see what they might have to say. Since you have already received an appointment, I don't see why you could not go ahead and do as you suggest, but it would not be a wasted call to check with admissions.

I'm fairly certain that, even with an appointment, you need to go to school second semester. (i think the requirement is 13 units)
and while it might be cheaper to take classes at a local college rather than at a university like UCI, there's a good chance that you'll have some trouble registering for classes this late. You'll most likely have to register or petition for them
