Hi everyone,

I'm from a very competitive district (TX-03), and I have been working very hard for the last five years to make sure my profile is competitive enough for admission (34 ACT, varsity swim team captain, NHS president, founder of a biking club, etc.). I have submitted everything on the portal and applied to all nomination sources. I am currently waiting for DODMERB to approve my medical exams. I know the waiting time is the bane of applying to service academies, but I cannot simply sit and wait; I want to be proactive and take charge of factors that I can control. I know that I am already disqualified for my previous history of asthma. Should I be proactive in seeking out a methacholine challenge in anticipation for the waiver process?

In addition, is there anything else that I am overlooking on my application? SAT/ACT, CFA, essays, and nominations are all complete. What is the next step for me in completing my application? Thank you in advance for your tips and encouragements.
