Very nice. For anyone who wondered, Fort Meade is the location of the Defense Information School. All of the military public affairs officers, and the enlisted public affairs folks, go through DINFOS. They also have panels to judge the work.

If you every want to talk about a rating that is judged, those public affairs folks are right up there. I went to a few public affairs conferences for the Coast Guard. All of your peers see your work, and aren't afraid to voice their feelings. Everyone must have rented buses, because plenty of people were run over. It's a competitive field. People need tough skin to not be offended (and to be willing to "offend").

Also, check out the Coast Guard's page on Facebook. They have a bracket right now with photos from different districts, facing off head-to-head to see which is voted #1 (in the Coast Guard).
 
These are some really amazing pics! I especially love the USAFA graduation one. Pics like that are always so inspiring!
