Link to Washington Post article on former senior military officers working for foreign governments.

General James Jones was hardly the first high-ranking Jones to take money from a foreign government, and General Michael Flynn wasn't the first retired officer to be paid by Russia. Those honors belong to John Paul Jones, famed for action on the Bonhomme Richard during the Revolutionary War, and later an admiral in the Russian Navy.

I wish you hadn't hadn't posted. I Wikipediaed JPJ and wish I hadn't.

I am no fan of Gen Flynn, but...

MeToo, if you get my drift.
Thrown off course.

As always, nicely done.

As an experiment, I would be tempted to broadcast JPJ's post Revolutionary War biography on some metastasizing social media platforms, to see how long before there would be calls to give Admiral Jones a new place of repose.

How's that son of yours?
