I would like to bring my nintendo DS and my games to beast barracks. I do not see it anything related to handheld gaming on the what to bring or not to bring list, so will this be ok? It is really small, only a little bit bigger than a cell phone. Thanks

 If we didn't think you were trying to be funny, you'd get all kinds of comments, like: Beam me up Scotty, there's no intelligent life down here.
:spacecraft:

Sure, bring it. Who cares if you're the only one - dare to be a rebel, dare to be an individualist. The Army loves to see that kind of attitude in a new cadet. Challenge the Cadet In The Red Sash to a quick game before you report to him.

While you're standing in line waiting around for things to start, keep it in your pocket so you can quickly access it to pass the time. After all, your enjoyment and well-being is very important to the Army. When those long boring speeches and lectures begin, you can play Warlock or Halo while the rest of you classmates pay attention.

See if you can figure out a way to play with your Nintendo DS while marching, I'm sure there's a way to hide it so you can have fun and train at the same time.

And after lights-out while others are sleeping, you can hone your skills on your game as you play to unwind. After all, those finger skills are going to last you a lifetime.

I kind of think you're being serious...but am confused as to how you thought it would be okay to do that. In all seriousness...don't...

Chip, please remember: you are not going to prison. You are going to school. You will have fun at WP. Some of beast is fun; some is not. Once you get through beast and start academic year, you will have down time. You might choose to play video games or watch movies (if your company allows), or you might go outside and play frisbee or toss a football. You will do regular college things (except for the drinking/partying stuff). Hopefully your host for the ice cream social will have a good assortment of video games so that you can at least play once during beast. Other than that, no, you won't be "saving the princess." :frown:

lughi59 can u stop being sarcastic, the purpose of this forum is to help people. I'm pretty sure hes serious and not familiar with everything at west point. And no, you can't bring it.

Perhaps you need to search out and read chipshandon's other posts asking about his use of marijuana or if his his bisexuality would be an issue.

Then you may understand that some people are actually not interested in real answers or help with real questions, only trolling.
