Haha, I have a father who is likely a bit older than you! If you thought you had problems with technology you ought to meet him. He doesn't even know what a forum is, so I would say you are doing quite well from my point of view!

To those who have a Booker nomination, do you have a nomination from another senator? Recieved mine from Menendez and was just wondering whether it's one senator per candidate for each academy. (As in you can't get 2 senator nominations for one academy?)

It is possible to get a nomination from both senators.

colinmcd, yes, it is possible to get a nomination from both senators. However, in NJ (and the Northeast in general) getting a nomination from both senators is unlikely. My DS got a nomination from our congressman and one senator. That is also fairly rare because in NJ the nominators often check to see if nominations have been given by other nominators and try to get more nominations in by not nominating twice. This year, because of the extraordinary circumstances regarding Chiesa, Booker, and the late Senator Lautenberg, there have been opportunities for a second (or possibly third) nomination. I'm in the 5th and have my non from Garrett, but no appointment as of yet to USNA... What academy are you referencing?
 
Just received a call from a staff member of Congressman Chris Smith's office (NJ-04) telling me admissions informed him I have been accepted to USMA. They are shipping out my acceptance packet tomorrow so others could also be hearing back in the coming days if their congressional staffer opted not to call them first
