NJ Nominations

My DD just checked her portal and she saw a NOMINATION from Chris Smiths office for USNA!!! No letter or call, just the portal update. Feeling so happy for her! GOOD LUCK to all who are still waiting!!
 
Also checked the portal for USNA and received a nomination from Chris Smith (NJ-04)
 
My son's portal says "Congress/Senator 1" ... so I guess that means Booker/Menendez nominations are done?

My son is at NAPS.
 
Does anyone know if Sen. Booker has released his nominations? I have not heard that anyone has a nomination from him yet as he is "Senator 2" for NJ. Am I just misunderstanding? Did he actually release his at the same time as Sen. Menendez? Thank you!

I was told by the office of Sen. Booker that notification ( letters) would go out sometime next week. But would hear something by mid-february.

Thank you so much! I was tempted to wait until Monday to call, but then started thinking that they might have gone out and I just was not notified because I did not receive one.
 
Hello my portal says I received a nomination coded "NJ61" which I was told on the forum was the senior new jersey senator. Does anyone know who this is and if they will send out letters. I believe New Jerseys senior senator is Rob Menendez
 
Yes that is accurate, and how come you aren't familiar with the Senator who nominated you?

I interviewed with menendez and booker. However in my portal it just says "nj61" nothing else. I tried contacting admissions but talk they said was that they received official papers etc and simply it's a nomination.
 
Hello, I received a nomination coded "nj61" I have not received any phone call or letter though. It was posted January 31
 
Has anyone heard from Booker about noms for any SA? I called his office 2 weeks ago and they said letters would be sent out by the end of February - both those receiving noms and those not. Tomorrow is the end of Feb. though and I still haven't heard. Am I the only one?
 
My DS did receive a phone call approximately 10 days ago from Booker's office saying he wasn't getting a nomination. So perhaps there's hope for you.

There is another thread in the USMA forums where they post the up to date Class of 2021. If you Control + F and type NJ you should be able to see who from NJ got in. At least the ones that are on this forum.
