Does anyone know when Menendez or Booker give out their nominations?
 
My DS just got a phone call on his cellphone at school. He received a message from Senator Booker's office that he was scheduled for a noon interview today. He momentarily freaked out, called me at work. He interviewed on Nov. 8th at Middlesex County College. Turns out it was a mistake, thank God.
 
your son is a senior? when did he first request a nomination?
 
Does anyone know if there are second interviews or follow-ups? I'm curious about the phone message my son received from Booker's office. They called to confirm an interview at Seton Hall, then said it was a mistake. Anyone know the procedure? Thanks
 
Sen Booker interview

My DS had same day as you, Middlesex Cnty, has an LOA. Have not heard a word yet. His Rep. interview was this past Saturday. It is my understanding that there are more interview dates due to kids having been away at college that could not make the November dates. MOCs have until Jan 31 to report their nominations to the SAs so it could be as long as that. We are all doing the waiting thing. :smile:
 
Any update on senator noms from NJ? Have Booker and Menendez released them yet?

New to this site. Can anyone update what they know about timeline fit NJ nominations. Does anyone know if we hear either way?
 
apparently two people have heard positively from Menendez, no one has heard negatively from him. No one has heard anything from Booker.
 
Thank you for quick response. Nerve wracking for sure! The coaches at USNA indicated that all decision should have been finalized this week? Have you heard anything similar?
 
The USNA application deadline is Jan. 31st so they would have until this Saturday to get all the announcements out.
 
It seems crazy they wait this long considering the deadline is close. Good luck to those of you still waiting for your nominations in NJ!

I've seen three candidates announce they've received nominations from Sen. Menendez. Two for USNA and one for USMA.

One was announced on the forums, and the other two on twitter (both women's basketball players).

I wonder of any of the three had LOAs.
 
My son received a nomination to USNA from Menendez but he does not have a LOA.
 
When did he hear from Menendez if I may ask? And is he a recruited athlete?
