NJ Senators Question

So have any fellow New Jerseyans heard back from either of our two Senators yet, or is it still a tad too early?
 
Last year I believe it was mid-January, but I also believe they vary a bit year to year. I had my interview mid November and I know there were more interviews the week before.
 
Also still waiting to hear back from the Senators. Heard back from Congressman Frelinghuysen (NJ-11) a few days after my interview, however.
 
Would it help if my father knew, and played football with, Senator Corey Booker in high school to get a nomination?

Expect to rely on your own merits and not nepotism. I'm not saying it doesn't happen, but most MOC use a selected group of individuals (military, community leaders, etc) to interview and screen the applications and candidates. In turn that board makes their recommendations to the MOC.
 
Aste67, where did you hear that? USMMA nominations must be submitted by 1/31. I hope they are aware of this deadline!

No the deadline is Jan 31. The senators office said the calls will be made the first week. That's what I was told, I could be wrong. Hopefully it's sooner.
