Ok thanks. There is a military high school nearby where i live where all students are required to take NJROTC. I was afraid that this would make it a lot more competitive to get a nomination. However, if they get additional nominations that will help me.
NJROTC units may issue a nomination only if they have been designated as an Honors Unit, so don't relax too much. Also, the SA's encourage all prospects to apply for all nominations for which they are qualified - you never know which one will be the one that works.
