When will the USMMA sponsored preps know whether they are in or not? My son is a sp. prep and is at NMMI this year. As a parent, I would just like to know the time frame so that we can make arrangements either way. He (my son) has given me the impression that as long as he fulfills all of the requirements that were asked of him then he is in. Also he is a requited athlete as well so I'm hoping that works in his favor. Any helpful information would be appreciated!

We are taking mid-term exams this week. We will send the grades (including Deportment) to the USMMA by next mid-week. Depending on those grades (if they look like the "contract" will be met)the MMA may start sending out LOA's. If the grades are not good, or boarderline, then the USMMA wil wait until the results of the final grades are sent. In past years we have had between 25-50% of sponsored preps deferred appointmenst until the final transcripts were sent.
