Hi,
Is there no portion for applicants to talk about their accomplishments more in-depth? I only have the option to list activities and sports, but no where to elaborate. No essay or anything like that?

I emailed a list of all my activities with specific accomplishments and leadership positions in each to my interviewer before I went in for my interview

Lahey,

Not to go too far off topic, but if you are applying for the HSSP (class of 2020), you need to get this done ASAP because right now you will have missed the 1st board and assuming you have yet to submit your app. you will miss the Jan. board too.

AFROTC has a limited pot of money. With every board, the money left to disperse will decrease, and chances of getting a scholarship may also decrease.
~ May be wrong, but if I am right and you have not submitted yet, than your 1st board you would meet would be Mar.
~~ Look through the AFROTC website regarding % for type 1, 2 and 7. If you need a type 1 or 2 to attend that dream college, you might be in trouble by the March board from a chance perspective.

FWIW, I am a little confused now because didn't you create a post a few weeks ago regarding your new ACT over your SAT and AFROTC not allowing you to submit it because on record it was basically the equivalent?
~ If my pea brain is right, than I am confused by your question because your application would be considered complete, as long as you had your interview already.

The interview process covers your listed achievements and is your chance to expand in greater detail. You have to applaud AFROTC for not requiring multiple 500 word responses that are common on College Applications!

hi Pima,

You are right. I did finish apply my application just in time before the closing for the first board. However, I did not get an offer first board (wasnt expecting one anyways) so that led me to try to fill in some more info that may help me (new ACT score). I also thought that if I had the chance to elaborate on some of my accomplishments in sports / clubs that may help me. Guess I dont have that option, but oh well! thanks anyways guys!
