This has been toeturous waiting for an answer. My DS has checked his portal 4 times already today.

Our son is still waiting as well-we're from Kansas, 1st district, Huelskamp(spell that!) Anyway have not heard anything; his app was one of the first due in November. Also waiting on Naval Academy. Lucky for full AFROTC scholarship-Univ. of Arkansas. We have one graduate from USAFA a few years back. Also another in our district hasn't heard either. Have they forgotten us????

It's not a bad thing Keep the faith, until you have a TWE, you are still in the running.

Absolutely! We didn't get the non-select letter. Why? You, your DD or DS as well as mine are being considered for something; otherwise they would've gotten one. The timeline information in the candidate info on the portal says prep and Falcon scholarships happen April/May. Chin up!

Concerning the April 20th target, This is a quote from 1Mom:

From Insider: "Yes, receiving a non-select letter does not mean you are disqualified from being offered a Falcon Foundation scholarship. In fact, most of the candidates who will ultimately be offered FF scholarships received a non-select letter yesterday. It hasn't been determined when the offers will be made, however (April 20th is a soft target)."

This thread is for those who have not gotten an offer or TWE. Admissions said to be patient until April 20th as the board has not meet yet for Prep/Falcon, via an email to my DD and possibly others. She was told this prior to 1Mom's post and the flood of TWEs last Thursday.
