While reading through numerous threads about appointments on here, I've come across many people who state that MOC's are likely to call with no caller ID. I received a call about 20 minutes ago with No Caller ID, but I was in class so could not answer. I was wondering if an MOC would leave a voicemail in the case that they can't reach you? I get that this is completely unpredictable and could just be a telemarketer that I missed, but it's coming around that time where our (the rest of us CPR candidates) fates are being decided. Please excuse the excitement about what this may or may not be! Lol

Probably depends on whether they call from home state office or Wash DC, cell service and phone.
When MOC called DD last year, the phone number was listed and it showed Washington DC.

If the staff or the MoC herself/himself called and did not leave a message to call back, you know the other person is who to vote for at next election!

When our senator called to inform my DS of his appointment yesterday, while in his Econ. class, the number showed up as restricted. I had told my DS & he previously informed all his teachers that he was waiting for news of his appointment & that he might need to take a call during class. All his teachers were excited for & supportive of DS so it really wasn't an issue when the call came yesterday right before his economics test.

I would think most MOCs would leave a voicemail. They already went the length to call the candidate...pretty certain they would say "give us a call back."

I'm getting a little worried because I received a No Caller ID two days in a row at exactly the same times!
No voice mail was left and they haven't called back since.
If the call actually was from MOC would they have tried to contact me another way or call again?

If it was them, I'd assume we'll know for sure in about a week since that seems to be the timeframe for MOC call to portal change!
