No contact from admissions?

So I'm still waiting for DoDMERB to finish my medical review (malfunction in database kept me from being added) but is it normal for admissions not to ask for my first semester transcripts? I have a nomination, my application has been complete for quite some time and am physically qualified. I expect to hear back from medical in the next week or so. Should I be worried that admissions has not contacted me? Encouraged? Thanks.

You should send in your first semester transcripts whether you officially hear from USNA or not. The only indication on your portal is the date received, unlike USMA with the checkmark, but they do want to see it (plus your final transcript). I posted this under the "Deferred Status" thread a few days ago:

Just saw this posted on FB in response to someone's question:

"Seniors are asked to submit first semester grades as well. They can be sent to the Office of Admissions at 52 King George Street Annapolis, MD 21402."
