Word from the RC is that a second round of LOAs is not going to happen. He advises candidates to focus on test scores and nominations.

Very competitive class this year! If you don't have an LOA, don't look for one. Focus on the process.

What about simply being accepted to West Point?

Acceptances will still go out later in the process. This simply means that no more assurance letters will go out to competitive candidates early in the process.

There are still many that will be in the class of 2016 who have not gotten an LoA, and plenty of whom haven't even completed their files yet
