No travel orders

My DS is a college reapplicant appointee and is finishing his classes at his University, with his finals next week. This will put him past the 6/11 date for usafa receiving final transcript. He told his counselor a while back, who said to send when he can. He’s been contacted by SATO travel with his plane reservation but has not received his travel orders. He’s emailed his counselor a couple of times with no response. Due to the pandemic, nobody is taking phone calls at Admissions. Should we be concerned?

Does your DS need his "Travel Orders" or the "Authorization to Travel"? The latter, will be issued once BCT squadron assignments are made and will probably be issued in a week or less. If he has already emailed his counselor, he should be good to go. You mention he has been contacted by SATO and flights are set, correct? If yes, then your DS is likely all set, just waiting for his "Authorization to Travel".

I think you're good to go. My 2024 direct appointee is also unable to print his authorization to travel, and all documents on his portal are processed. Like MM777 said, give it a few more days.

My DS is in the exact same boat. He is a re-applicant and he also will not finish classes until next week. It was recommended to him to have his professors send a progress report via email to his admissions counselor. We have travel booked for him already but obviously that "authorization to travel" would bring peace of mind, but we can only do what we can do. I have been told the next week or so there will be more information forth coming as official report times will be issued.
