No word on Study Abroad Decision, semester starts in 10 days?

I applied for Study Abroad much earlier on in the semester, but have yet to receive a final decision from Cadet Command (Army ROTC). My studies abroad are completely in line with my major, and was told that my application should be approved. However, the new semester at university starts in 10 days (Abroad semester would start in ~5 weeks) and the university's ROTC staff/instructors are on winter break and possibly not returning until very close/the start of the new semester.

I am really in a bind here. I have everything set to go abroad, been accepted months ago, etc. Is there any way to contact CC and inquire as to the status of my application?

You should have a point of contact from CC - when you get those letters from CC, down at the bottom, your point of contact is listed.

You could always try emailing the PMS too.

Cadet Command has nothing to do with your study abroad. Your PMS is the one that will determine whether you are OK to study abroad. If you waited this late to square this away, and you are now trying to figure out your status by posting on a discussion board you have problems. You need to contact you Battalion/PMS ASAP and figure things out.

Finnbarr,

If the cadre at your program are unavailable for the entire Winter Break, you have some serious problems.

Thank you for your reply, however I do believe CC has final say over the matter. From their website, under Study ABroad: "These programs are administered by USACC DCS G-2." When I first gave in the SA application, the PMS's approval was only the first step. The last time I was given an update on the application status, I was told that the application was at the brigade level, and pending brigade's decision, would be sent up to CC G2. I believe I have done everything I can to try and square this away. I am posting on a discussion board as I have not gotten an update since before the winter break, around 3-4 weeks ago, and I cannot be sure if one is coming within the very immediate future, so I am looking for an alternative method.
