Nomination Confirmation?

So, I'm all done with my USNA application, i have an LOA and im slightly confused. Is it true that I have to call my congressman who gave me my nomination to USNA and confirm that I will be using their nomination? To be honest i dont know. Or do i just wait and hope for a BFE to come in the mail.

It is not necessary to notify your congressman of your intent to use the nomination. It is out of his hands now; the service academy will make that decision.
