Nomination dilemma

As I said in an earlier post (I think on this thread) I don't think it can ever hurt to call and ask. But I have to say, you knew you had APPLIED before the interview, right? It should have come up that you were also interested in USNA... and if they didn't ask you should have brought it up.

When I answered interview questions, I kept it general to becoming a military officer/attending a service academy rather than specifically an Army officer/USMA. I just mentioned that USMA was my first choice, but would definitely be honored to attend another service academy.

OK. So look. You've accomplished all you can here. We can't give you a nomination. You either have to play the cards you've already been dealt or make a call to the MOC's office. Entirely up to you. Do you even know if your MOC gives nominations to more than one academy? Some don't.

If you got an LOA from the USNA then I wouldn't think you would have any trouble getting the appointment to USMA with your MOCs nomination. Of course it's never a guarantee but you must have a pretty good resume.
