Hello All!

This is my first year applying to USMA and I was wondering why my nomination has a 1 trailing behind my district. I understand that the portal is slighly different this year. Does this mean I am first pick or is it simply just a number for classification?

Thank you!

If USMA is consistent with past years, then the first two numbers are your district number (as you noted), and the third is the 'slate' number (1-5) for which you have been nominated. Your Rep has five slots or slates at West Point. You're nominated for the 1st of the five

Each year they'll use a different slate number, and one year they might use 2 slates. So if they're using only slate 1 this year, everyone this year in IN09 will also have a "1" by their name. Each slate can have 15 names.

Hi. For current soldiers, does any one know of the nomination box will change once the Commander's endorsement (CE) is uploaded? I understand it's not a nomination per se like one from a Representative, but is the nomination box supposed to indicate anything? There is a green checkmark under the CE below and it was received by Admissions. Thanks.
