Nomination Interview conflicts with basic training

I’m in a somewhat unusual situation as a high school senior who will be attending 11B OSUT starting in the fall (would have liked it have been in the summer but unfortunately not a possibility). I know I’d qualify for the service-connected nomination, but I wouldn’t be graduating OSUT until mid to late december and I feel it’d be inappropriate asking for my Commander’s endorsement at my very first drill.

I plan on contacting the soldier admissions rep ASAP as I’m sure he would be the best source of info in this case, but is anyone aware of whether it’d be possible for me to receive the enlisted endorsement/nomination later than the application submission deadline in the same way that VP/Supe noms aren’t decided until the last minute?

Also the other question I meant to ask: is it at all possible that the congressional board might make an exception and convene early/late considering I’ll be at benning during the normal interview window?

can you adk for a phone interview? my DS is at school in TX and both senators did phone calls

In addition, I would contact your nomination source. I think they would understand and try to accommodate. Telephone interview might be possible later in training, but the difficulty would be coordinating it during the day with your drill sergeants when you don't have other training.
