Nomination interview

Ya, how did yours go?
I felt pretty solid with my answers to their questions, and they seemed to like me except for the guy in uniform; I even cracked a joke and made them all laugh.
How about yours?

Oh I guess I misinterpreted what he was saying. So from what it sounds like 1 person isn’t getting it.

May or may not be the case. I know there are some representatives that give less than the amount they're allotted to. My district had about 18 applicants for a total of 2 spots (20 nom slots). However he only nominated 8 of them. Again yours may be different, but not every rep maxes out their slots.

Some MOCs may not "max out" their slots because they don't have 10 qualified applicants -- or even 10 applicants period -- for a particular SA. I personally can't think of another good reason not to give out all 10 noms.

If you still have another round of interviews to go it can be worthwhile to review your performance, but don't go back and re-live it just to brood over perceived missteps. Head up, eyes open, feet moving forward, pitter patter let's get at 'er.

It went well.
