nomination not showing

My son received a letter from one of our congressmen that he had received a nomination to USMA. He received the letter during the Christmas holidays.

His portal is still only showing his JROTC nomination. Does my son need to send the letter to USMA or is there just a delay due to the holidays?

Most of the Academy admission folks take time off during the holidays because they are "all out" from now through at least early May. Also, just b/c the MOC sent YOU a letter doesn't mean that he/she has notified USMA. They have until Jan. 31 to do so. I agree that you should give it some time -- maybe more than a week.
