My District Representative will nominate you to more than one Academy, if you're qualified of course. My two senators only will nominate you to one each. My number 1 choice is the Air Force Academy and my second is West Point. So, what should I do? Of course, try for both from my Representative. But, for senate, should I do one each? Or just do both USAFA, since that's a strong number 1...ahh decisions decisions...

You might want to talk to your alo. While your senator may only give you a nomination to 1 academy, they talk to each other. Many won't give you a nomination at all if the other senator gives you one. They'd rather see 20 applicants with a nomination that 10 applicants with 2 nominations to the same academy. If this is the case for your senators, you are better off asking air force for one and navy for the other.

But that all matters where you're from and the competition. In my state you can get a nomination to all 4 academies that require nominations. Air force has the most applicants and is hardest to get a nomination (still easy) but almost no one applies to merchant marine and not as many apply to navy. Florida, Virginia, and California would be totally different.
