Nomination Questions

What is the advantage of having a MOC nom instead of Senatorial?
A nomination is great in any form, but the more noms, the better chance of appointment. Also, in many states, the competition to win the district MOC slate is less than the battle for the statewide senators' slates.

IMO, too broad of a generalization but I think the thought is that because the denominator of the applicant pool - for example 70 USMA applicants for our MOC versus over 1,000 for our Senators - that if the skates are submitted competitively, the competition may not be as stiff on the MOC slate as compared to Senators and the first “goal” is to win the slate.
