Nomination timeline

Can anyone suggest the best time to apply for a nomination pertaining to the class of 2017? The West Point SLS letter said to apply for one ASAP...However our Congressman doesn't even hold his Academy day until June, and the interviews occur in Sept/Oct. Would it be better to continue to build a strong profile and apply later (June)? Thanks!

I would suggest going to your MOC's website. They will have instructions on what is required and when the deadlines are. Pay attention to those deadlines, i hear people miss those every year.

Well, the Vice President starts accepting applications in March, so even if your Senators and/or Congressmen don't start until later, you could start that one early.
