How long after the interviews does it normally take to hear about a nomination decision? I know every MOC is different, but what would you say the average amount of time is/ how long did it take for you to hear back?

Thank you in advance for all of your answers!

Sorry, there is no "normal" The deadline for your MOC to file their slate is January 31. A few years back NJ senators notified their nominees on Feb 2. Some will notify standout candidates at their interview. Sorry, I am no help, but hang in there. The wait is difficult. Enjoy hour senior year.

Senator #1 told DD 4-6 weeks. NOM's are due 31JAN....this Saturday (5NOV) will be the 4 week mark.
Congressman said 2 weeks. He lost his seat, so NOM's are due 31DEC....this Saturday (5NOV) will be the 1 week mark.
Senator #2 interview isn't until 19NOV, so we'll see, but he's retiring so NOM's are due 31DEC.

It really is 'all over the place.' DS, re-aaplicant, interviewed with our Congressman's panel on Saturday and heard from the Congressman on Monday (his portal updated too). Needless to say, we were pleasantly surprised.

Totally depends on the MOC and how he or she operates.
My DS was interviewed in late November (2014) by the congressman's panel and then notified of his nomination the first week of December by phone call from the congressman.

Thank you, all! I interviewed last weekend with my Senators and will with my Representative in 2 weeks. Unfortunately, my state is notoriously slow with nominations so it may be a while. Good luck to everyone!

Not so slow, at least comparably. Here in MI, DD doesn't interview with Rep for a month and the Senators haven't even scheduled their interviews yet.

I have heard that a few years ago my state, NJ, didn't hear about nominations until Feb. 2 even though they were interviewed in Oct/Nov

Senator Peters has interviews scheduled for Nov 19 on the west side of the state
