How long does it take normally for a nomination to show up on your candidate portal?

It's usually pretty quick. Remember just because you were informed doesn't mean your MOC has sent in their official slate. They have their own system they officially send the slate in on. Also between MOCs and admissions staffs there are lots of people on vacation.

It seems to vary greatly from weeks to days. DD's was on the portal 2 days after her interview, before she had even heard from the Congressman's office but I think that speaks more to his staff's efficiency than anything else.

So should I be concerned if it's been a month since I was notified of my nomination by my MOC and my portal still does not reflect that?

I wouldn't worry, my nom didn't appear on my portal until 3 weeks after I received notice that I was nominated

Probably means your MOC hasn't submitted them yet or maybe did right before Christmas break and they haven't been processed.

I think a lot has to do with the time of year. Lots of noms coming in and staff on vacation. DS was notified he had noms to USAFA, USNA and USMA. It showed up on his USAFA portal about a week and a half ago, on USNA the end of last week and still hasn't posted on USMA.
