Nominations Deadline

Since USNA's deadline is January 31st, does that mean we will hear back about nominations on/before that date?

The hypothetical date is 4-15. But they can always change it.

The nominations deadline for the members of congress is Dec 31 so the nominees should be notified by the respective congressperson before then---they love to spread a little joy among their constituents. The academies actual appointment deadline is April 15 as noted above. That doesn't mean oddball appointments can't or won't be made right up until I-Day, but tax day is the day the overwhelming majority of the appointment process is completed.

Note that regardless of when you initiate your request, the Academy must receive your nomination by January 31st.
