What is the appropriate way of sending a letter of transcript and letters of recommendation over email for academy nominations? I have been having them signed by the appropriate individuals and then scanned into PDF's. Is this ok or should I do it a different way? Any advice would be appreciated.

If I understand your questions correctly, I think you need to address them to the MOCs directly.
