I have not seen this show up here before. I think this should be required watching before any high school student decides they want to go to West Point. I often see these young people talking about wanting to attend a service academy and have no real idea what that means. They are caught up in the hype or prestige and do not get what it means to be a platoon leader. While this focuses on a few football player's amazing stories, the experiences will be the same. If you search on Youtube, there are 6-8 clips already complete.

I have been open with my DD since the day she decided this was her dream five years ago. In todays world environment and modern battlefield, a young Army Officer will most likely lead soldiers in direct contact with the enemy. If you cannot tell me that is something you see yourself doing in the next few years, maybe you should reevaluate your choices.
