If you are currently a high school senior interested in applying for the 4-Year Marine Option NROTC Scholarship, and you are living in the Northeast Region of the United States (i.e. Maine, Vermont, Rhode Island, New York, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Massachusetts, Delaware), the deadline for early board consideration is 30 October. That means you have submitted the application online, all teacher evaluations are complete, officer interviews. ACT/SAT/ASVAB, PFT, and other administrative requirements are fully complete. If you cannot meet that deadline, your application will not be considered on the early board convening at the beginning of November. The online application portal closes on 31 December. The main board application deadline is 01 February.

Completing the application by the early board maximizes your chances for selection. If you are not selected on the early board, you may re-run your PFT for a higher score, submit higher test scores, or amended transcripts. Act now to make sure you're ready to be briefed on the board!
