Norwich - Degree in nursing while in the Corps?

    Of course it is possible - and this is true even if you are playing NCAA football in the Corps. See article below about a Cadet football player who decided to switch from Intelligence & Security major to a Nursing major because of the additional options for career choices. In addition to civilian shortages, all military services have a need for nurses - and all 3 military branches that have nurses supported The Citadel creating this major. I understand that the Army ROTC unit at The Citadel is allowing two scholarship cadets to switch their scholarships to the Army Nursing scholarship program effective with accreditation this May. It is great option - providing you have the qualifications to get into the program.

    Interesting read, but something tells me this degree won't be offered at VMI anytime soon!
