Not Sure About CPR

Hello everyone,
Just wanted to start by saying I have been coming to this forum for advice since I was a kid and now that I'm in my senior year I can't say thank you all enough for the help. With that being said, I finally created an account because I have a question I'm not sure if I have found the answer to.

On the USNA application portal, it states that my application is "Complete pending review". However, I am still waiting to complete the remedial process for DoDMerb. This is the part that I am confused on. There was a remedial request due to an impetigo infection on my knee (wrestling). Fortunately because of an upcoming wrestling tournament I had already been to a doctor who released me to full activities and was able to send off the requested remedial material the same day and received an email stating it was received by the reviewers. That was on January 24th, and I still have not heard anything. Considering that I have a nomination and everything else is complete, does that mean my application will still be reviewed or am I stuck waiting?

Thank you very much for any help!

That was what I had thought at first as well, but no update had been made on the DoDMerb portal. Likewise the same "complete medical evaluation" is on the USNA portal even though it states that I am CPR.

I certainly hope you are right JoeAmerican!

CPR means you have completed all application parts...that is it. Doesn’t mean you are or aren’t qualified in any of the three areas (Admissions Board, medical, or physical). Your application file review by the Admissions Board is not affected by where you are in the DoDMERB/waiver process. The status will only change when a disposition of an offer of appointment, acceptance into NAPS/Foundation, or a turndown is made. The status doesn’t not change based on the three qualifications.

Does anyone know if there's a way to tell if we're actually being looked at/considered for a waiver or if the status stays the same until they make a determination? I was asked to do a remedial early on for USNA, completed that and a few days ago was asked by USMA to complete a different one that was requested by their waiver board, and on their portal it actually states "Waiver Requested". My top choice has always been USNA so keeping up hope that no news means I'm still in the fight. Good luck to those still waiting!
