I just finished my first semester as a senior and have improved my grades a lot from freshman year through hard work. I also have just recently gotten my third job. Are these accomplishments notable? Should I submit them to the admissions team at USNA? Also, if I should send them to USNA who do I send them to?

I don't know this procedure at all and I'm sure others are in the same boat I am.

Why are you working so much? Are you trying to save for college? That's commendable! My high school kids work as file clerks and spend their money on new video games and boyfriends and girlfriends, especially the ones who play video games.

Have your high school counselor validate your grades and additional significant achievements and send them to your USNA admissions counselor at the email address listed in your portal. We had a similar inquiry a month or so ago regarding significant updates to my DS's app, and this is what he was advised to do by his USNA admissions counselor. But I am not sure about the grades if they haven't requested them. Seems like they are requesting them from some but not all. Email your USNA admissions counselor and inquire. Ours has been extremely helpful to my DS and very responsive! Good luck!

I'm trying to save for college if I don't get into USNA. Right now I work as a lifeguard, intern, and restaurant dishwasher. I sometimes spend the money on video games also but mostly save it.

Thanks for your help I just emailed my admissions counselor and asked as well.

The Admissions Counselor will let you know how to proceed. Anything school related needs to be validated by your high school counselor, but for employment, he/she will likely ask you to have your employer send a validation email (always good to include your candidate# in correspondence). Good luck!
