Is there a way that USMA admissions keep in contact with collegeboard the way they keep in contact with congressional representatives? i.e the congressman/woman. I believe I have sent them my November test scores however I don't see a change in my scores despite the fact that I have done better.

Thanks

Please use the "P" word

My DS is in the same boat. No "pun" intended. His portal reflects SAT/ACT scores that are old and do not indicate his new higher scores. If you directed the ACT/SAT to send your score to USMA they have them. They just haven't had time to post them. You must understand this is crunch time for admissions dealing with 15,000 plus application and sorting them out.

Please use "patients", February will be here real soon.

I would recommend your DS/DD send an email to their admission administrative contact and inform him or her that scores had been sent to USMA. For instance, my DS retook the SAT on December 1st, and scores were available on 12/20. Our DS had collegeboard.com send the scores on 12/21, which USMA accepts via mail only. Through the Holiday break, our DS was continuously checking his portal to see if his scores were updated. On Wednesday of this week, DS emailed his admission contact asking if the scores had been received and received a response within 24 hours indicating that the scores will be updated on his candidate portal. A check as of yesterday reflects the new scores.

For what it's worth, I know of an applicant whose scores were not posted because they had been placed in another file that had been created because of a mix up with middle initials. A few emails to the administrative assistant to the RC quickly resolved the issue. They may be dealing with a LOT of paperwork, but are very kind in sorting these things out.

I think the best thing to do, (which I've done back in august) is to send my official score report to my minority admissions officer (South East Admissions team) its much more efficient because it is a "direct" send off rather than sorting out the scores received etc. I am thinking about doing the same with my college transcript as well.
