Once you take the AFA and your score sheet has all been filled out by the supervisor, do you take it to your NROTC coordinator yourself or is the person who administered it supposed to send it somewhere?

I sent all of the forms via email to the chief that was my NROTC coordinator. He seemed like a very busy man and was slow at responding to emails, but I actually never met him in person, everything I did was via email. Talking about last year.

Thank you; I assume I will have to do the same as my coordinator (who I have yet to speak to - just got their information today from another source) is about 4 hours away. Did you have to scan documents such as the fitness test sheet and the documents you are supposed to sign with the coordinator, or how did that work? I'm finishes with my online application but was never contacted by the coordinator so I'm trying to find all the info I can such that, if our communication is slow because they are extremely busy, I can get it all done at once.

I think I was contacted by my coordinator, the automatic email after you finish the online portion tells you who your coordinator is. I contacted him and asked him how to continue. He gave specific instructions, which included going to the closest navy enlisted recruiter and getting some papers signed in their presence (they will be petty officers). After that I scanned all the papers, they were signed by me and had the signature of the petty officers who were enlisted recruiters. After that I set up my interview with my officer recruiter, who is entirely different from the enlisted recruiter. The officer recruiter that did my interview was a LT, I believe. The LT sent the interview directly to the chief, and then with the interview, papers signed by me in recruiter presence, and fitness assessment (who I administered with my Lt.Col from MCJROTC) sent to the chief, I was all wrapped up with my application.

My NROTC coordinator (the chief) was about 3 hours away, and for the whole process I never had to drive to him or even call him. Everything was via email. I guess he really is a "coordinator", in the sense that all he did was coordinate. I never met him.

Alright I really appreciate this. It's definitely a process. One final question: Did you or your MCJROTC instructor submit/send the AFA scores?

For NROTC, you have your own piece of paper that you bring to whoever is administering the AFA. They write down your scores as you continue with each event, sign at the bottom, and you take that paper with you. I scanned it and sent it to my chief.
For USNA, you enter the email of whoever will administer the CFA. They probably receive an email or some portal access on where to upload the scores, and they upload it without you.

I applied to the USNA last year but not NROTC so I'm not familiar with much of the application. Thank you for your information and congratulations if you're currently on scholarship :)
