I applied for the first board of Marine option NROTC and have not yet heard back. I am unsure if I will be awarded it so I want to be prepared for the second board.
How do I go about Re-running a PFT? Should I contact my recruiter to request a change? I think that I will have a much stronger score for the second board.
Thank You!

First board results typically come out mid-December.

You have an OSO and perhaps an NCO who you dealt with when you submitted your application. If they advise to retake the test then they will set it up. Stay in touch with them.

+1 to USMCGrunt. They usually reach out to Marine Options who were not awarded a scholarship to solicit updates and perhaps redo the PFT.

You're on the right track when you indicate you'll be proactive and make the contact.

Good luck based on demonstrated skill and perseverance.

It ain't over till it's over. Sounds like your being proactive that's key. Redo the PFT absolutely. Also study your tail off for your finals and submit an updated transcript as soon as fall grades are in. Did you take the classes you said you were going to in the fall and do well? Show them! Good luck!
