My son's NROTC application status continues to show:
Your application is at the Marine Corps District for Board Selection followed by a long list of missing things... all of which we know are done including the interview, etc. We've been working hard to make sure everything is ready for the first board. We got everything completed (PFT, interviews, pictures, etc) by Oct 15.
He's sent emails to the District Officer handling his application to check on when it was updated and to try to make sure nothing was gummed up in the works and hasn't heard anything back. This is not anything new as he seemed to be unresponsive in the latter half of September as well (I assume for good reasons). I know my son doesn't want to be percieved as a PITA so I haven't suggested he try a phone call yet. I've reviewed other threads where it states the Navy, and especially Marines, aren't too good on getting the application status updated. Do we need to be worried? Should I have him work the phone or just be patient?
Thanks in advance for any advice!
