NROTC Board Results

So does the applicant get an email that tells them they got the scholarship or does the email tell the applicant to check the portal? I'm just trying to figure out if there is no email, there's no need to check the portal? Thank you for any clarification anyone can offer.
The subject of the email is: FW: NROTC Scholarship Selection
and then in the body it says "NROTC Scholarship Recipient,
Congratulations on your selection for the NROTC scholarship. You must read this email in its entirety to ensure that you do not miss important information. Reference this email to answer your questions before contacting my office. All email, fax, or mail correspondence must be sent to the addresses listed below (this contact information can also be found at the bottom of each request form). Emails with requests sent to any other address (including my direct office email) will not be processed. All emails must be sent from the email address that is listed on the application to protect each applicant's personal information...."

and it goes on and on with I think 4 attachments. But I have yet to find in the email where is says where it is placed and if it is a 4 year scholarship. That information is on the portal. This email seems to be the BFE. If you get one that says only to check your portal, that may suggest bad news.
 
I see. Thank you! My son hasn't received any email so for right now, I'll take that as good news. His paperwork went in at the end of January so I know he's late to the dance!
 
No news is good news or at least not bad news. My DS was also late applying. His officer interview was Feb 4.
