Since the last round of results came out there are still two boards meeting before Christmas from what I understood reading here. (One the last week of November and then one this week, or next?) Will either of those boards release results before Christmas?

I would expect results from all concluded boards to be published before Christmas, with the exception (probably) of the 12-16 DEC board. They may get it out, but I wouldn't count on it. You'll probably see those results shortly after Christmas.

NavyNOLA, So #3's packet was just completed with a first look at the 12-16 Dec board. What does a response look like? Is it an email to him, a letter to the house, an update on the NROTC webpage? I am not sure how he will know--and I would hate for him to miss it because he does not check his email frequently--and when he does it is filled with rubbish. Thank you.

Can anyone explains to me the process after I submit the application? Fitness test then interview and board?

Can't speak to Navy Option. For Marine Option the fitness test normally occurs in conjunction with the interview... ie. same day. Of course board is last.

Congrats! Did she hear from MIT if she got in via early admission, or is she applying regular?
She's applied through the regular application process because she didn't finish up the SAT subject tests until late.

AFA and interview, which can be done in any order. Generally, the interview is last, but doesn't have to be.

Good luck with MIT and regular admission! I bet she'll be nervous for a couple of months waiting to hear if MIT accepts her. :) My daughter got an early admission there. She had MIT as #3 or 4 but requested it be moved to #1 when she heard the news from MIT.
