NROTC Commissioning cancelled

Not canceled just conducted virtually. Big difference there as the important piece of getting to lead Sailors and Marines is in sight. I am sure there is some disappointment but at the end of the day many of us have observed milestones like commissioning and promotion apart from family or our closest friends
 
Oooooo yessss bad choice of words and I cannot edit. My apologies! Cancelled wasn’t the intent in my brain.

My point in posting, was that NROTC put out their video in addition to USNA. Both having to ‘cancel’ the normal activities, and going virtual to commission.

Historical.
 
And when you commission virtually, Mom, Dad, and the girlfriend/boyfriend can still be there to pin those bars on.
