NROTC in my sophomore year?

Can I start NROTC in my sophomore year of college? In the case of me getting a TWE this year, my school does not have NROTC that is my backup plan but a school near mine does that I found out about just recently. Can I apply for ROTC going into my freshman year of college?

You can reapply for the 4 year program.
You should also enroll as a college program midshipman as a freshman--if you start at the other school you mentioned. This can set you up for a possible sideload scholarship.

Caveat is that you need to get accepted into that school.
