NROTC Major- BA?

I'm currently a tier 1 major, and considering switching to a tier 2 major, being statistics. At my university, statistics is listed as a BA(bachelors in arts). Are BA degrees still considered tier 2 even if they're technical?

Talk to your unit staff because you will have to inform them of your major change anyways. From what I know your major will still be considered a Tier II despite it being a Bachelor of Arts. However, your chain of command will have a better answer for you.

Also, keep in mind that your request to change majors may not be granted. Better now than later though.
