Just receieved word this morning that I received the 4 year Marine Option Scholarship! Most likely to Oregon State.
Fantastic! Great news.
Sent you a PM
I expect others will hear soon!
First off, congratulations. I know how hard you must have worked to get this.
How did you receive word? Status page, letter in the mail, or email from RS?
Whoohoo! Merry Christmas and Semper Fi!
Get in shape this summer, if not before. Even if you think you're already in shape, you aren't. Work harder. Knock the ball outta the park when you get there for the PFT. Congratulations. Now the real work begins!
RS called me this morning to let me know.
Almost had that perfect PFT score! Got a 298, but I'm hungry for that 300! You can bet I'm going to be working plenty hard!
Impressive! Most impressive. Obe-wan taught you well.
My Uncle's a Colonel and of course he had to rag on me for not getting that 300, just more motivation I suppose!
what were your school choices & did you get 1st?
is oregon your 1st choice?
if not, what were your choices if you don't mind sharing?
Yes Oregon State was my first choice. It's in state, plus they have an excellent Civil Engineering program, which is what I'm interested. I still don't know for sure that it is where I will be attending, but my adviser said its most likely where I'll end up due to being first board/in state.

That's all I can really bring up without looking at my application. I know there was one other applicant from my RS that was notified, other than that I haven't heard anything.
