Nrotc Marine Option?

Finding out about this scholarship definitely now has my rethinking my options as my plan B after finding out i was not award the Nrotc marine option scholarship, was just to become a college programmer at my dream school which is not one of the HBCU's listed. But now i feel i must not waste this opportunity that has been given to me which will ultimately lead me to the same path of commissioning.
