NROTC MO Application Question

Hi all,
Just a little backstory: I have recently submitted the first part of my NROTC (MO) online application (the one with the personal, references, NROTC interests, essays sections etc.)
My question specifically revolves around the references. Before the school year ended I talked to the people I needed to for the references portion and put in their name, school name & address, email etc. into the application.
I got an email from one of my references today that says they have yet to receive any NROTC information in their email inbox. This is strange to me because I put their name and email into the application.
I was wondering when NROTC will send out the links to the references I put down. Does my recruiter have to process and approve the people that I put for my references first or am I doing something wrong on my end?
I have double and triple checked that all of their info was correct.
I would appreciate any help.

Thank You.

I think the system kicks out an email to the references pretty quickly. I agree with Kinney - have them check their spam folders.

I am also competing for the scholarship, and after my first interview, my Recruitment Officer gave me all the necessary forms and also sent me pdfs of the recommendations. Not too sure if things are done differently district by district but for me, I handed the recommendations directly to my teachers and coach. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the help! I’ll ask my coordinator about the references. Another question: do the PDF’s that I hand to teachers need a letter of recommendation or just different evaluations?

Sorry maybe I misunderstood, but the PDFs are the recommendations, unless you were asking something else.

Question for you: Did your coordinator/recruiter ask that the teachers email him back the evaluations or mail them somewhere? Or were you asked that the teachers/coach give the evaluations back to you so that you can give them to your recruiter?

I emailed my coordinator yesterday and today he sent me the PDF of the evaluations and at this point I'm trying to figure out the best way to go about it.

Thank You.

My Recruiting officer gave me the choice of either collecting all the recommendations and sending him pictures, or having the teachers send pictures directly to him. Keep in mind teachers often prefer the latter for confidentiality.
