NROTC MO to Navy Option

Hello all,

I currently am a college programmer who just picked up scholarship as a Marine Option Midshipmen. I was wondering if anyone had heard of the scholarship being transferred to a Navy option scholarship. Is it just applying for a 2/3 year navy scholarship?

Well the application process i simple. I'm sure people have done it but it's usually the other way. Make sure you knock out calculus and physics as soon as possible. I don't imagine they would approve without those courses being at least underway.

It can't be "transferred" to Navy option. You have two options- either reject the Marine option scholarship and apply for a Navy side load, or accept the Marine option and apply for a change of option (in which case you'd compete against the side load applicants). You need to speak to the MOI and freshman advisor.
